Airina Rodrigues focuses her practice in the area of intellectual property law. She has represented clients in intellectual property litigation matters in the field of trademark, copyright and patent law. Based in New York, she has experience in US Federal Court matters and has represented companies in diverse industries, including fashion, medical devices, hospitality and media. In addition, she counsels clients in trademark prosecution and licensing matters and represents clients in other IP-related transactions.
Her pro bono work includes intellectual property counseling for nonprofit organizations and for filmmakers and other artists. She has also assisted Holocaust survivors in obtaining reparations payments from the German government.
Ms. Rodrigues received LL.B. and B.C.L. degrees, with Great Distinction, from McGill University's Faculty of Law in 2008, where she was an associate managing editor of the McGill International Journal of Sustainable Development Law and Policy. She graduated with a B.A. (First Class Honors) in 2004, also from McGill University.
