Anna is the Country Managing Partner in the Sofia office and has over nine years' experience. She has advised on commercial contracts with an emphasis on the telecommunications and energy sectors as well as on services provision contracts. Anna has also participated in a number of significant M&A transactions and has expertise in competition law and merger control, IT law and data protection, telecommunications regulation, options and shares acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Anna obtained a Masters degree from Sofia University in 1997 and began practising as a private lawyer in Bulgaria in 1998. Following her position as a consultant to Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant involving negotiations with major contractors for the KNPP Modernisation programme, she joined the first mobile operator in Bulgaria as an in-house lawyer, after which she was appointed Head of the Competition Law department in the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company. She returned to private practice in 2005 with a client base of national and international businesses and investors. She was also involved in major acquisition and privatisation transactions in Bulgaria.
