Bill Frimel concentrates in complex business and technology litigation.

His focus includes contract and business disputes; intellectual property, trade secrets and proprietary rights; real estate and lease disputes; and banking, creditor rights, workouts and equipment leasing. He also focuses on Internet, spam and application implementation and hosting; distribution and licensing agreements; unfair competition; business torts; partnership disputes; and insurance disputes and coverage. Mr. Frimel also has experience in alternative dispute resolution, arbitrations, trial preparation and counseling, including litigation avoidance.

  • Approximately 20 jury trials, court trials, and binding arbitrations.
  • Commercial and business litigation of all types and sizes.
  • Internet litigation: domain name disputes, unsolicited commercial e-mail or "spam" litigation, advertising and click-through disputes, application hosting and implementation disputes.
  • Intellectual property, trade secret, and proprietary rights litigation protecting clients’ core and most important assets.
  • Contract and UCC disputes: purchase orders, distribution and licensing agreements, manufacturing agreements, collaboration agreements.
  • Banking litigation: commercial banking matters, equipment financing, problem loans, and workouts.
  • Real estate and lease disputes: real estate disputes of all types, purchase-sale agreements, landlord-tenant disputes, unlawful detainer actions, and constructive eviction.
  • Insurance coverage and dispute litigation concerning all types of claims and business losses.
