DLA Piper earns Chambers USA Award of Excellence in Real Estate
Firm is the first ever to receive Chamber’s real estate honor twice

With the 2011 Award of Excellence, Chambers & Partners, the leading international research firm, has again recognized DLA Piper’s Real Estate practice group as the leading Real Estate practice in the United States. The Award of Excellence was announced in New York City on June 9. Having also earned this honor in 2008, DLA Piper becomes the first and only firm to receive the prestigious award twice.
“This award reflects DLA Piper’s pre-eminence across all real estate sectors, as well as the practice’s notable achievements during the past 12 months, including outstanding, high-profile work and excellence in client service,” said Jay Epstien, Chair of the US group. “Coupled with the numerous other accolades that the group has received, this award continues to affirm DLA Piper’s position as the top real estate practice in the United States.”
In the newly released
Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, 36 DLA Piper lawyers throughout the country were also identified as leading real estate, zoning/land use and construction lawyers. In addition, the firm garnered top tier real estate rankings for Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts and Washington, DC, with California, Florida, New York and Texas also highly ranked.
