Christopher M. Young is the chair of the San Diego Litigation group and co-chair of DLA Piper's Product Liability and Mass Torts practice. Mr. Young is an experienced trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in product liability litigation, pharmaceutical and chemical litigation, and complex business and commercial litigation. He has defended numerous class action and other mass tort and coordinated proceedings in both federal and state courts, particularly in the consumer fraud context. He has extensive experience with electronic discovery and with the use of various forms of technology to coordinate and support complex mass tort litigation.

Mr. Young is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the practice areas of mass tort and personal injury litigation. He is also listed as a "recommended" lawyer by The Legal 500 United States in the areas of product liability and mass tort defense. Mr. Young is a member of Law360's Product Liability Editorial Advisory Board.
