Dennis E. Wieczorek has concentrated in US and international franchising, licensing, antitrust, and distribution law matters for over 25 years. Mr. Wieczorek has spoken at numerous seminars and symposia for lawyers, executives, accountants, and government regulators, and has written for a wide variety of legal and business publications. He has been retained as an expert witness in franchise litigation and has testified before the US Congress on the subject of franchise legislation. Mr. Wieczorek is the Immediate Past Chair of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising.

Mr. Wieczorek has been selected for inclusion in the publication An International Who’s Who of Franchise Lawyers; of the 70 US lawyers elected, 15 are partners of DLA Piper. He also has been selected as a Leading Illinois Attorney by the Network of Leading American Attorneys and has been included in the latest edition of The Best Lawyers in America. He has been designated an Illinois Super Lawyer, as the result of research projects conducted jointly by Law & Politics and Chicago magazines. He was also listed in the 2005 Who’s Who Legal: The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers and in Franchise Times’ “Legal Eagles,” as one of the top 101 franchise lawyers in the US and Canada. In 2007, the respected English publisher Chambers and Partners named Mr. Wieczorek in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, calling him a "shrewd and levelheaded negotiator" and praising his "even temperament and sophisticated understanding."
