Daniel E. Rosenfeld, a partner in the firm's Litigation department, concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes.

He has extensive experience in a variety of areas including employment and labor law, securities class actions, intellectual property, antitrust, tax, construction, insurance coverage and bankruptcy.

Prominent technology companies, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, financial services institutions, private equity and venture capital companies, and other business concerns have been among his clients. Mr. Rosenfeld has extensive experience trying cases in a variety of federal and state courts and has served as lead trial counsel in federal courts in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New York and in state courts in Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island. He has litigated appeals in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Third and Seventh Circuits.

Mr. Rosenfeld has litigated numerous labor and employment issues in state and federal courts and at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. He has been extensively involved in arbitrations, mediations and internal investigations relative to employment issues and has significant experience in contract disputes, non-competition cases and misappropriation of trade secret cases.

Mr. Rosenfeld has written articles and lectured on insurance coverage, products liability, deposition and trial practice, and evidence.

He has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer.

Mr. Rosenfeld is the Pro Bono Coordinator for DLA Piper's Boston Office.
