David Kramer practices primarily in the areas of trademark and copyright law, including domain name, Internet and media matters. His practice focuses on the selection, adoption and use of trademarks, domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, and trademark portfolio management, as well as title clearance and pre-publication media review. He also participates in intellectual property litigation matters in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, as well as domain name dispute resolution matters before the World Intellectual Property Organization and National Arbitration Forum. Mr. Kramer also has experience conducting pre-publication review of product packaging and other advertising materials.

Mr. Kramer earned his Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School, where he served on the editorial board of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal. Prior to joining DLA Piper, he served as an assistant product manager at America Online in Dulles, Virginia. With a background in computer science and English literature, he has a deep-rooted interest in the intersection of technology, media and the law.
