Birgit is a partner in the Real Estate practice group in our Vienna office.

She advises clients on real estate law with an emphasis on cross-border transactions. Birgit has advised both domestic and international clients on several major real estate acquisitions in Austria and across Central and Eastern Europe and South East Europe. Within her real estate experience, she has focussed particularly on the retail sector and has key experience in this field.

Birgit studied law at the University of Salzburg and has a business degree from the Vienna University of Economics. Prior to joining DLA Piper, she worked for two top tier Austrian law firms. In addition to her experience as a lawyer, Birgit was a consultant with Jones Lang LaSalle in their shopping centre consulting team.
