Feruz is a legal director, specialising in cross-border transaction structuring and mergers and acquisitions with extensive experience assisting foreign businesses investing in Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. Feruz has worked in the Moscow, Tashkent and Almaty region for over six years.

His practical experience includes complex due diligence reviews, corporate structuring, joint venture formation, and the privatisation of state assets. He has advised companies and banks on various legal issues including banking transactions, currency regulations, share acquisitions, corporate law, labour law and arbitrage.

Feruz's previous experience includes working for Andersen in Tashkent, where he managed the tax and legal department. Prior to joining Andersen, Feruz served as in-house Counsel to Coca-Cola, as a Senior Legal Consultant to the National Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity and as a Clerk to the Supreme Economical Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Feruz completed a Master of Law with honours at Tashkent State University and is a certified Uzbek attorney. He is fluent in English, Russian and Uzbek.
