One of the topics discussed in our December 2010 newsletter is the legislative proposal to amend the holiday legislation. The Upper House approved this legislative proposal on 24 May 2011 and the act took effect on 1 January 2012.
The legislative amendment is two-sided as the accrual of days of paid leave during illness has changed and the Act includes an expiry period for statutory days of paid leave. Both changes are discussed in this newsletter.
This newsletter is available in Dutch only.
