Denis leads the Corporate practice in the St Petersburg office. He has considerable experience in corporate, M&A and investment law.

Denis has been active in this area for over a decade. Prior to joining the St Petersburg practice of EY Law in 2002 he worked for five years in Andersen and Andersen Legal.

Denis is clearly a top recognized expert in M&A in the region and has several major acquisitions in commercial real estate, food and beverages, manufacturing, and transportation, including a number of the largest deals in North-West Russia and Moscow.

Denis provides a broad range of corporate and commercial legal support to many investors in the establishment of new manufacturing facilities as well as on the restructuring of existing operations.

Denis has been heavily involved in several major start-up investment projects (both, greenfields and brownfields), where he has advised clients on various issues during the initial investment stages (including, structuring, real estate and construction, corporate, tax and customs issues) and, subsequently, in relation to their operational stages.

Denis was highly recommended by Chambers Europe 2008 for General Business Law: St Petersburg.

As a Co-Chair of the Investment & Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in St. Petersburg, Denis focuses his efforts on improving the business and investment climate of Northwest Russia and maintains strong lines of communication with local officials.
