Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business has repeatedly recognized Mr. Sullivan, calling him "smart and personable" and "a trusted corporate adviser to many clients, who say he is 'a great leader who's seen it all.'" He has been consistently named a Northern California Super Lawyer and has been recognized as one of Northern California's Top 100 Super Lawyers in corporate finance. Mr. Sullivan has been a panelist at various professional and business seminars and serves as corporate secretary for a number of companies.

In 2009 the Association of Fundraising Professionals honored Mr. Sullivan for his work as outside counsel to Craigslist Foundation, a nonprofit that supports and develops nonprofit leadership.
