Diego heads the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology group in Spain. He has practised commercial law, intellectual property, corporate law, technology, marketing, outsourcing and data protection law for more than twenty years. He provides advice to a large number of clients on issues (both in Spain and worldwide) including: distribution and sales agreements, outsourcing, international data transfers, telecommunications, negotiations with Data Protection Commissioners, telecommunications, best practices in handling information management and legal implications of data protection security rules.

Diego has outstanding experience in data protection litigation in Spain, at all the levels of jurisdiction (including the National Court and the Supreme Court).

His experience as an in-house lawyer for an important international consultancy firm and one of the biggest banks in Spain gives him an insight into projects that combine both outsourcing and systems management in a financial services context.

Diego currently holds the position of Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Tata Consultancy Services' subsidiary, one of the largest outsourcing groups in the world and has been acknowledged as a leading specialist in outsourcing by the prestigious European Legal Experts Guide.
