DLA Piper advises Ploeger Oxbo Group on issue of shares and acquisition of Oxbo International Corp

DLA Piper has advised Ploeger Oxbo Group B.V. (previously: Ploeger Agro Holding B.V.) on the issue of shares to existing and new shareholders and the subsequent acquisition of, the twice as large, Oxbo International Corporation.
Ploeger Agro is a Dutch manufacturer of special harvesting machines for potatoes, beans, spinach and peas. Through the acquisition of Oxbo International Corp, a US company working in the same business, by Ploeger Oxbo Group a global player has been created in the field of harvesting machines for niche markets in the agriculture business. The group is active in Europe and North America and wishes to further expand into South America and Asia.
Ploeger Oxbo Group and her shareholders were advised by Casper Hamersma, Pieter Paul Terpstra, Hendrik Bennebroek Gravenhorst, Martijn van Wanroij, Xander van Leeuwen, Petra de Rooy, Vanessa Westing, Kelly Hardy, James O'Malley and Paolo Morante of the DLA Piper offices in Amsterdam, Baltimore and New York.
