DLA Piper launches its latest outsourcing tool: the Requirements Builder

News
Press Release

DLA Piper has today announced the launch of its latest outsourcing tool, the Requirements Builder, an automated online tool which streamlines the crucial requirements capture process at the start of outsourcing projects. The innovative tool is useful for anyone planning sourcing projectsof any size, complexity or geographical scope – regardless of their technical knowledge.

The Requirements Builder is an automated questionnaire which simplifies the complex requirements capture process and helps ensure that all of the key issues are considered from the outset. The tool generates a comprehensive requirements summary - an invaluable document for discussions with potential suppliers, advisors or the Board.

The launch of the Requirements Builder comes just weeks after the launch of another DLA Piper resource, the Global Sourcing Portal, which provides easy access to the firm's range of user-friendly outsourcing tools and resources.

Commenting on the launch, Kit Burden, Head of Technology and Sourcing at DLA Piper, said: "The Requirements Builder was developed as a result of our experience advising clients across all sectors, capturing requirements for some of the world's largest and most complex outsourcing projects. It, along with the other tools and resources available on our Global Sourcing Portal, reflects our experience in this field, as well as our commitment to providing clients with an unrivalled service throughout the entire outsourcing process."

DLA Piper's dedicated Technology and Sourcing team is recognised as one of the world's leading practices of its kind. It was recently named 'Advisor of the Year' at the 2010 European Outsourcing Association Awards.
