Blake has been involved in patent prosecution, intellectual property counseling, and patent litigation for both large and small entities. He has developed and implemented patent programs from the ground up for start-up companies, participated in successful multi-million dollar patent negotiations and sales, evaluated patent portfolios for large international organizations, as well as been involved in the intellectual property aspects of both licensing and corporate acquisitions. He has also participated on numerous patent litigation teams as technical patent counsel.

Blake's intellectual property experience includes work in the technical fields of computer networks, e-commerce, mobile e-commerce, computer software, cloud computing, wireless telecommunications, remote health monitoring, Internet infrastructure, social networking, clean energy and aeronautical composites, as well as a wide range of non-technical fields. He also has experience with trademark prosecution and counseling, allowing him to strategize on the full range of corporate intellectual property concerns.
