Jeffrey Kuhn regularly represents business and corporate clients from a wide range of industries in a variety of actions, including state and federal administrative proceedings and litigation. 

Jeffrey also counsels clients on risk minimization, regulatory compliance, litigation avoidance and litigation management associated with environmental, energy and land use matters.

Jeffrey has been counsel on several compliance and litigation matters of national and international significance, including representing major energy producing companies on permitting, planning, government relations, governmental initiatives and potential litigation associated with climate change matters. Jeffrey successfully represented a major interstate natural gas pipeline company in an National Environmental Policy Act case before the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit challenging approvals issued to the company by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He has also represented a multinational joint venture on the permitting, environmental impact review and federal judicial and administrative appeals relating to the construction of a liquefied natural gas facility. Jeffrey has also successfully represented major energy facilities in judicial appeals of state discharge permits, including litigation of the issue of the “best technology available” for cooling water intake structures.
