Ryan Sulkin concentrates his practice in the areas of information technology, outsourcing, data protection, licensing, e-commerce and intellectual property.

Ryan has extensive experience negotiating and drafting a wide range of agreements, including both national and international outsourcing, consulting, software licensing, application development, hosting and telecommunications services. He recently has focused on counseling in the hospitality and travel industries, with an emphasis on technologies and services that support on-property and above-property hotel operations, including loyalty programs, reservations processing, electronic distribution, revenue management, co-branded arrangements, property management systems, point of sale systems and in-room entertainment technologies. His hospitality experience further includes working closely with information technology procurement professionals, with a focus on creating standard documents and processes aimed at streamlining the negotiation and purchase process.

Ryan also counsels on data privacy and data security issues, including complying with multinational regulatory requirements (with a focus on cross-border data transfers), evaluating and negotiating agreements for cloud-based solutions, drafting web site privacy policies and terms of use in alignment with business practices and legal requirements, investigating and managing potential data security incidents and complying with PCI-DSS and applicable breach notification laws.

In addition to the hospitality and travel industry, he has worked with companies in the consumer products, retail, media and entertainment industries.
