Kate E. Frenzinger is involved in the area of commercial dispute resolution in the United States and throughout the globe. Her practice includes domestic and cross-border commercial contracts, real estate and hospitality, trade secrets, and unfair business practices. Ms. Frenzinger’s dispute resolution experience includes mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Ms. Frenzinger recently:

• Achieved highly favorable arbitration award for a hospitality developer in a complex cross-border real estate dispute in Mexico and California involving litigation and international arbitration;
• Successfully defended a former employee of a Canadian satellite parts manufacturer in a trade secret and noncompete claim, including obtaining summary judgment and an attorneys’ fee award;
• Represented a multibillion-dollar Brazilian oil and gas company in international construction contract disputes and attorneys' fee dispute in the federal courts of New York and Texas.

Ms. Frenzinger also has experience in appellate proceedings, including:

• Petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court from the Ninth Circuit in a 47 USC § 230 immunity case;
• Second Circuit appeal of jurisdiction and forum issues, including assertion of sovereign immunity;
• Fifth Circuit appeal of jurisdiction and forum issues.

In 2003, she participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot tournament in Vienna.
