Espen is the Country Managing Partner for Norway and has practiced law since 1987.

He was previously employed as the director of Veidekke ASA's legal department and head of the contracts department in Aker Engineering AS. Espen therefore has considerable experience in the areas of both on- and offshore real estate and construction law. He also acts as a legal and strategic adviser to several companies in Norway on both a national and international level.

Espen advises real estate and construction companies on tender phases, project execution and major disputes. He has significant litigation experience within construction and real estate law as well as substantial Public Private Partnerships (PPP) skills and experience.

Espen is a member of the board as well as chairman of several private companies. He is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association and attended law school at the University of North Dakota.

Espen has lectured on construction law, the Norwegian standard contracts and negotiation skills.
