UPDATE: SEC EXTENDS WINDOW FOR CURTAILED STOCK REPURCHASE RULES

As we advised you in an earlier alert, the SEC recently implemented an emergency order which temporarily suspended the timing limitations and modified the volume limitations applicable under the Rule 10b-18 safe harbor for issuer stock repurchases.

Please be aware that the SEC has extended the deadline for the emergency order from 11:59 p.m. EDT on Thursday October 2 to
11:59 p.m. EDT. on Friday, October 17, 2008.
