Francis B. Burch, Jr. is Joint Chief Executive Officer of the firm and a partner in the litigation group concentrating on securities, corporate, and business tort litigation.
Mr. Burch is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Law Institute, and a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference. He is listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, The Best Lawyers in America (Business Litigation), Woodward & White, Marquis Who's Who in American Law, Marquis Who's Who in America, and Marquis Who's Who in the World. In 2008, Mr. Burch was named a Maryland Super Lawyer and cited among the top 50 Super Lawyers in Maryland. Baltimore SmartCEO magazine has named him to its list of Maryland's Legal Elite.
A trustee of The Johns Hopkins University, Johns Hopkins Medicine, the Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Mr. Burch has been named to the search committee to find the new president of Johns Hopkins University. He is past chairman of the board of The Greater Baltimore Committee, The University of Maryland School of Law and The Leadership of Greater Baltimore and has served on the boards of the Baltimore Museum of Art, Calvert School in Baltimore, Jemicy School and Dome Corporation.
