Partner
Frank De Vito focuses his practice on real estate development, finance, and leasing. Mr. De Vito represents lenders, borrowers, developers, landlords and tenants in commercial real estate projects. He counsels clients in senior and mezzanine financings, workouts and restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions, sale-leasebacks, and land use and permitting matters.
Mr. De Vito has been named a Massachusetts "Rising Star" in commercial real estate in a research project conducted jointly by Boston and Law & Politics magazines.

Representation of lenders in loan restructurings and workouts, including a loan secured by residential condominiums in Florida and a loan secured by a shopping center in Illinois.

Representation of the agent bank in a $100 million line of credit secured by environmentally contaminated properties throughout the United States.

Representation of a lender in a $42 million mezzanine loan involving the conversion of an office building in New York City to a luxury apartment complex.

Representation of the owner of a new 500,000 square foot office building in Boston in a $200 million multi-lender construction loan.

Representation of a corporate owner in the sale of its downtown Boston headquarters building. The transaction involved the conversion of an office building containing over 800,000 square feet to a commercial condominium, and the sale and short-term leaseback of a major condominium interest in the building.

Representation of the owner in the permitting of Fan Pier, a major mixed-use development on Boston's waterfront.
