Gerard is a partner in the Finance and Projects group of DLA Piper in Amsterdam.
He has significant experience in advising domestic and internationally based clients, including private equity investors, financial institutions and strategic purchasers, borrowers and vendors, on all aspects of the structuring, documentation, negotiation and implementation of leveraged, corporate, real estate and project finance transactions. He has particular expertise in leveraged finance transactions and has strongly developed a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) background, particularly in the field of controlled auctions.
Gerard has been admitted as an advocaat in the Netherlands, solicitor in England and Wales and attorney in South Africa.
