Professional liability insurance

Our professional indemnity insurer is AXA Versicherung AG, Branch Office Cologne, Wiener Platz 3, 51065 Cologne. The geographical scope of insurance coverage comprises legal advice in the member states of the European Union and complies at least with the legal requirements pursuant to sec. 51 of the Federal Lawyer's Act (BRAO), sec. 67 of the Tax Consultancy Act (StBerG) in conjunction with sections 51 et seq. of the Regulation on the Implementation of the provisions for tax advisors, tax agents and tax advisory companies (DVStB) as well as sec. 54 of the Public Accountants Act (WPO) in conjunction with the Regulation on the Professional Indemnity Insurance of chartered accountants and certified chartered accountants (WPBHV).

In addition, we maintain professional indemnity insurance with Travelers Insurance Company Limited whose address is Exchequer Court, 33 St Mary Axe, London EC3A 8AG. This insurance covers our practices in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Australia and Asia and extends to acts and omissions wherever they occur in the world.
