Why Attend?
As lawyers, we draft operating agreements to evidence the parties’ intentions and avoid problems for our clients. Imperfections in drafting, however, are often revealed in litigation. Taught by seasoned transactional attorneys with extensive drafting experience, this unique webcast will “reverse engineer” recent cases into practical drafting advice, with specific examples of corrected contract language. In discussing each topic, panelists will begin with a succinct description of a recent case, explain the relevant issues (including, where applicable, problems arising from the wording of statutes), and then offer language to avoid the problematic drafting at issue in the case.
