The government has published its Consultation Paper proposing a new financial services regulatory regime. This will be a major change for all financial institutions and DLA Piper will be following the legislation as it develops and highlighting areas to watch and new priorities. To start the ball rolling Michael McKee will introduce Angela Knight, Chief Executive of the British Bankers' Association who will outline her thinking about the new proposals and their implications for banks and for the financial services sector more generally.
