- Development Agreements with the Isle of Man government in respect of the redevelopment of a significant part of Douglas, Isle of Man, for the provision of public multi-storey car parking and other public uses and a 50,000 sq ft Marks and Spencer store.
- Negotiation of development agreements and development documentation for the redevelopment of High Wycombe Town Centre, a large scale mixed-use regeneration scheme providing 850, 000 sq ft of prime retailing and leisure floor space, comprising primarily retail, leisure and residential space, including 2 department stores, 12 screen cinema, 10 pin bowling complex, retail, restaurant/leisure and public facilities and public realm.
- Acting for the Developer in respect of $220,000,000 redevelopment of the Broadway/Firesgate area of Winchester, England, a major mixed-use redevelopment of this historic town centre including the provision of a new modern bus passenger interchange, public car parking, CCTV, medical practises, offices, 24,520 sq mt of residential development, 10,168 sq mt of retail, youth centre, shop mobility and other public and social amenities.
- $750,000,000 mixed use redevelopment of the Southgate area of Bath, a World Heritage Centre, creating a new retail quarter with a mix of retail, leisure and business uses including eight new buildings providing:
- 37,567 sq mt retail space including a new 12,000 sq mt Debenhams Department store. - 3,522 sq mt of leisure space. - 2,278 sq mt of restaurant space. - More than 90 new homes including 23 affordable/key worker houses. - Basement car park for 754 cars. - Modern integrated transport hub, linking rail and bus services on adjacent sites including brand new bus station, open piazzas, public spaces and facilities.
- Negotiating development documents in respect of numerous other schemes including Hale Barnes, Manchester and London.
- Acquisition and structuring of sale and leaseback transaction of 70 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3 and the subsequent disposal of the completed 9 storey mixed use retail and office building, subject to the letting in place to Marks and Spencer to Excel Re for a sum of $260,000,000.
- Acting for leading private equity fund in the establishment and acquisition/disposal of assets through an off shore unit trust structure to a value of $220,000,000 including establishment of a number of offshore "umbrella" funds.
- Establishing various property unit trusts and other tax efficient holding vehicles in relation to numerous property acquisitions for leading financial institutions, private equity houses and high-net worth individuals.
- Sales and leaseback transactions for numerous investors and occupiers particularly in respect of a number of major retailers (OPCO structures).
- Acting for many high net worth individuals in structuring and documenting significant property acquisitions.
- Acting for London business school in establishing incubator funds and "hot house" facilities for new IT start ups.
- Development of structured OpCo/PropCo structures.
- Acting for a leading South African developer in the development of 25,000 sq mt business/data storage facility including the structuring of innovative lease/service legal management agreements with occupiers.
- Chester Business Park, acting on behalf of a major occupier with the liquidators of the original developer to restructure and re-gear the service charge and management regime.
- Advising bidders in respect of tender proposals for a major public private partnership in relation to the NHS Retained Estate including negotiating all relevant documents with the NHS.
- Acting for major plc. in assisting with defence of a takeover bid.
- Acting for various banks in respect of both primary and mezzanine lending in respect of numerous property acquisitions and developments including Landisbanki Islands, Barclays Bank Nodel LB and Anglo Irish Bank.
