Jason Harmon practices in the area of corporate and securities law, including public and private equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate matters. His practice emphasizes high technology and emerging growth companies, including Internet, communications, and biotech companies.

Mr. Harmon's mergers and acquisition experience includes serving as buyer's counsel in several transactions, including counsel to Inland American in the acquisition of Winston Hotels in July 2007. His seller’s counsel experience includes the March 2004 acquisition of The Hillman Group, Inc., and the April 2006 acquisition of STS Operating, Inc., by Code Hennessy & Simmons. He also represented Laureate Education in its sale to a KKR-led consortium in August 2007, and Columbia Bancorp in its acquisition by Fulton Financial Corporation in February 2006.In his equity offering and debt offering experience, Mr. Harmon has been both company counsel and banker's counsel.
