Michael Hutchings is the regional leader of the firm’s Corporate & Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups and the national editor of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Newsletter. He focuses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and complex securities transactions and has been involved in a number of complex public and private offerings and corporate transactions. He also counsels companies, boards of directors and board committees on corporate governance matters and securities law compliance.

Michael is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Corporate Act Revision Committee which continues annually to update the Washington Business Corporation Act and is a past chair of the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association’s Invest Northwest conference. He is active in numerous civic and professional organizations, and is a frequent speaker on topics relating to mergers and acquisitions, securities laws and corporate governance.
