Regulation

All Hungarian lawyers at Horváth & Partners Law Firm DLA Piper are admitted within Hungary to practice as lawyers (ügyvéd) or trainee lawyers (ügyvédjelölt) and are members of the Budapest Bar Association (Budapesti Ügyvédi Kamara). Professional liability insurance

Our mandatory professional indemnity insurance is provided by the Insurance and Assistance Association of Hungarian Attorneys (address: 1136 Budapest, Hegedűs Gyula u. 8. IV. 5) in accordance with Section 13 f) of Act XI of 1998 on attorneys. The geographical scope of this insurance coverage is the territory of the Republic of Hungary.

In addition, we maintain professional indemnity insurance with Travelers Insurance Company Limited whose address is Exchequer Court, 33 St Mary Axe, London EC3A 8AG. This insurance covers our practices in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Australia and Asia and extends to acts and omissions wherever they occur in the world.

Our services

We are committed to providing the highest quality services to all of our clients. Please tell us if something goes wrong by contacting the matter partner responsible for the work.

If we are unable to resolve a problem through internal channels, our client may refer the matter to the Budapest Bar Association. If, after investigation, it is found that the complaint is justified, the Budapest Bar Association may take disciplinary action against the lawyer involved.
