Ivo studied law in Vienna and is Regional Managing Partner for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. As Regional Managing Partner, Ivo is responsible for the coordination of DLA Piper Weiss-Tessbach. Ivo is also Head of the Commercial practice group in the CEE region, which provides full service legal advice to clients in the region, including general commercial advice, employment law, litigation, public law and intellectual property (IP). Ivo's specialism is in advising and representing clients on national and international transactions, i.e. the foundation and acquisition of companies in all kinds of industries, including companies dealing with telecommunications services. He also has strong banking regulatory expertise and teaches banking law at the Business Faculty of the University of Vienna. He is the President of AIJA's (International Association of Young Lawyers) Finance Comittee. Ivo was educated at the University of Vienna, Faculty of Law (degree in law, 1988). He speaks German and English.
