Italian partners win 'Lawyer of the Year' at the Top Legal Awards 2011

DLA Piper are delighted to announce our success at the 2011 Top Legal Awards, which took place in Milan on 21 November.
Giangiacomo Olivi, DLA Piper's Head of IP&T in Italy, won the 'Best IP&T Lawyer' award, and Olaf Schmidt, DLA Piper's Head of Real Estate EMEA picked up the 'Best Real Estate Lawyer' award.
Established in 2007, the Top Legal Awards is an annual awards ceremony that aims to recognise excellence demonstrated by law firms and lawyers in Italy. The trophies are assigned by an external jury made up of General Counsels and representatives of some of the most important companies in Italy.
Country Managing Partner, Federico Sutti, commented: "We are really pleased to be recognised again by the Italian market through Top Legal as per the excellence within our team. This is a further confirmation of the quality of the performances and assistance delivered to our clients within the local business scenario."
