Jamie Knox is a partner in DLA Piper's Corporate and Finance group, based in New York. In his corporate practice, he has represented NYSE-listed public companies on an ongoing basis, providing advice concerning acquisitions, corporate governance, disclosure and securities regulations. His finance practice assists borrowers and lenders in the structuring of acquisition financings and refinancings of existing indebtedness and encompasses the full range of corporate finance alternatives for both investment-grade and below–investment-grade borrowers.

Mr. Knox's clients have included many of the largest investment banks, public and private companies, private equity funds and hedge funds. Mr. Knox has worked with companies in many industries, including consumer products, health care and life sciences, technology and industrial chemicals.

Mr. Knox is recognized by Legal 500 in the area of Capital Markets: Debt Offerings for 2011. He is noted for his work in the representation of Life Technologies in a senior notes offering for aggregate amount $1.5 billion in March 2010, and is described as "extremely knowledgeable and responsive."
