Jeremy has specialised in pensions since 1989. He advises on all legal aspects of pensions, particularly final salary schemes, scheme mergers and the pensions aspects of corporate transactions. He also advises on public sector schemes such as the Local Government Pension Scheme and analogous schemes such as the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme. He is responsible for the development of the organisation's standard documentation service for pension consultants, including for small self-administered schemes and self-invested personal pension schemes. Jeremy provides bespoke pensions training for trustees and pensions administrators. He was awarded the Association of Pensions Lawyers' Prize in 1994 for the best pension transfer schedule. Jeremy has practised as a solicitor since 1990 and was formerly a barrister. He also worked in the mid 1980s as an employment lawyer for the Engineering Employers Federation.
