Mr. Taschke, based in the Frankfurt office, is EMEA Head of International Corporate Crime, Investigations & Compliance of DLA Piper. He has broad experience in advising companies from all different sectors in the field of white collar, corporate crime and investigations. Mr. Taschke specialises in managing regulatory risks as well as the defence of multinational organisations, esp. in corruption, fraud and tax matters. His experience covers also the defence of organisations in environmental matters.

Much of Mr. Taschke's work is international and involves contacts with prosecutors and regulators in Europe, the US and Asia. When it comes to cross-border matters, Mr. Taschke works closely together with his colleagues from the Corporate Crime, Investigations & Compliance group, a number of skilled lawyers having the necessary experience on a local and international level.

Mr. Taschke is listed since many years in Juve as leading lawyer in the field of corporate defence. Juve quotes a competitor who recognises Mr. Taschke as "a perfect white collar crime lawyer for corporations". Chambers wrote: “…Mr. Taschke is an increasingly prominent name in the market. He is popular with peers and clients, who consider him “an outstandingly brilliant lawyer,” and he has been active advising on investigations into corruption and compliance, as well as tax evasion matters.”

Mr Taschke has published more than 50 articles. A significant number of the publications deal with the criminal and civil liability of management, corporations and associated questions, e.g. forfeiture, criminal and administrative fines.

Mr. Taschke is Co-Editor of the Journal Neue Zeitschrift für Wirtschafts-, Steuer- und Unternehmensstrafrecht (New Journal for Economic Criminal law, tax criminal law and corporation related criminal law) and member of the Advisory Board of the Journal Strafverteidiger (The Defense Lawyer).
