Kate is joint head of the Pensions group in the Leeds office. She specialises in pensions law and acts for employers and trustees in both the private and public sector projects. Kate advises on pension scheme mergers, money purchase conversions, reviewing and updating scheme documentation, employer and trustee duties and on pension scheme governance generally. She provides pensions advice for corporate transactions including PFI transactions. She also provides training to trustees and employers. Kate writes regularly for the pensions media and speaks at seminars and conferences on issues surrounding pensions law. She is recommended as a leader in pensions in Legal 500 and Chambers. Kate is also a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
