Kate is a partner in the UK EPB Group, joint head of the Pensions group in the Leeds office. She has specialised in pensions law since qualification in 1990. She provides strategic advice to employers in relation to private and public sector on all aspects of pensions that impact their business. This includes mostly recently liability management exercises, group restructuring and she also advises on pension scheme mergers and trustee on their duties and on pension scheme governance generally. Kate provides training to trustees and employers and is a regular speaker at seminars. She also writes regularly for the pensions media. Kate is recommended as a leader in pensions in Legal 500 and Chambers and is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
