Partner
|
Kim Pagotto, a partner in the Washington, DC office of DLA Piper, practices in the areas of commercial real estate leasing, finance, government leasing and development. She has experience with acquisitions, dispositions and leasing of office, retail, industrial, telecommunications, utility and multifamily residential projects.
Ms. Pagotto has developed significant experience in the area of government real estate, particularly GSA leasing. She represents clients all over the United States in all aspects of the GSA and other government agency leasing cycles, including responding to solicitations, lease negotiations, lease administration, audit responses, and acquisitions, dispositions and financing of individual and portfolio properties with a government lease component.
Based on peer reviews, she has been listed in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 editions of The Best Lawyers in America in the real estate category. In 2009, Ms. Pagotto was named a “Rising Star” by Georgetown University Law Center’s Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute, and in 2007, she was named one of Bisnow's "35 Under 35: Rising Stars of Commercial Real Estate" in Washington, DC.
Ms. Pagotto also is active in pro bono matters, and has assisted such organizations as the Capitol Area Food Bank and ARC of the United States. She has also assisted a survivor of Hurricane Katrina through DLA Piper’s signature pro bono project Rebuilding Foundations of Home Ownership.
