Kit heads the corporate practice team in Shanghai office and works closely with Beijing, Hong Kong and other DLA Piper offices advising clients on both domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions across the region. He has been working in Hong Kong and mainland China since 1998.

He has acted for, and has advised, a diverse range of multinational companies in relation to their investment and commercial activities in China, in particular for mergers and acquisitions and real estate investment, covering all aspects including structuring, due diligence, documentation, regulatory compliance and taxation planning.

Kit joins DLA Piper from Roosevelt Sino Retailers where he was Chief Operating Officer and Legal Counsel overseeing all legal and operational matters for the company. Prior to Roosevelt Sino Retailers, Kit obtained extensive experience working in the global legal practice environments of leading international law firms.

IFLR (2010-2011) has acknowledged him as a leading lawyer in China in the corporate (M&A) practice area. Kit has been chosen as the exclusive winner in the category of 'General Corporate' practice in China by the International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice Awards 2012.
