Lee I. Miller is the Joint Chief Executive Officer of DLA Piper and a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Global Board. For nearly 30 years, Mr. Miller has concentrated his practice in the area of commercial real estate law. Mr. Miller has lectured extensively before bar, trade, and professional associations on a variety of topics. For the past several years, he has served as co-chair of NorthStar Conferences LLC, law firm management programs that focus on numerous law firm leadership topics including compensation structures, mergers, and management.

In 2008, Mr. Miller received the Arthur Goldberg Social Justice Award from the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, recognizing his leadership in advocating on behalf of some of Chicago's most vulnerable populations. In 2007, he was one of five alumni of Georgetown University Law Center honored with its annual Paul R. Dean Award. The accolade recognizes alumni who have exhibited leadership to Georgetown Law and to the legal profession. The American Jewish Committee recognized him with the Judge Learned Hand Human Relations Award, honoring his leadership in the legal profession and personal dedication to philanthropic and civic endeavors.

Mr. Miller is a President's Club Member of The Real Estate Roundtable, a real estate organization that brings together leaders of top real estate firms and trade associations to address key national policy issues relating to real estate and the overall economy. Based on peer and client reviews, Mr. Miller has been selected as one of America's leading real estate lawyers by Chambers and Partners, a respected English research firm. He is listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America. For the past several years, he has been recognized by Crain's Chicago Business in their annual listing of "Who's Who in Chicago Business." He has been designated an Illinois Super Lawyer, as the result of research projects conducted jointly by Law & Politics and Chicago magazines. In 2007, the Illinois Leading Lawyer Network named him among the Top 100 Leading Lawyers in Illinois and among the state's Top 100 Leading Business Lawyers. He was chosen to be a member of Who’s Who in International Real Estate Law, published by Law Business Research, which selects lawyers from around the world who are recognized by in-house counsel and senior business executives.
