Michael Hutchings provides general counsel services to public and private technology companies and represents clients in connection with a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, technology licensing transactions, corporate partnerships, commercial agreements and venture capital financing transactions. Mr. Hutchings also counsels companies, boards of directors and board committees on corporate governance matters and securities law compliance.

Mr. Hutchings is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Corporate Act Revision Committee, which continues annually to update the Washington Business Corporation Act, and is a past chair of the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association’s Invest Northwest conference.

The respected research publisher Chambers & Partners recognizes him in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, commenting that he "is recognized for his expert counsel" and "is noted for his expertise in the technology sector." He has been listed for a number of years as a Super Lawyer in the Washington Law & Politics survey of best corporate lawyers in the State of Washington.

Mr. Hutchings is active in numerous civic and professional organizations. He is a frequent speaker on topics relating to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities laws and corporate governance.
