Kenneth S. Aneckstein concentrates his practice in estate planning and administration of large estates. He advises clients on estate planning; estate and trust administration; income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning; closely held business planning; and related issues with respect to preserving and transmitting wealth within families. Mr. Aneckstein has extensive knowledge in the areas of tax, business, estate issues, and the drafting and construction of wills and trusts, as well as experience with IRS practice and procedure, including compliance and controversy work. He has extensive experience in planning for distributions from retirement accounts subject to the minimum distribution rules and, in that capacity, serves as outside counsel to a national IRA custodian. Mr. Aneckstein joined the adjunct faculty at the University of Maryland School of Law in fall 2002.
