In recent years, economic performance in Ukraine has been underpinned by increased domestic consumption, low inflation, export growth - particularly in metals, fuel and chemicals - and solid consumer and investor confidence.  Although some of Ukraine's economic and legal structures are not as advanced as other regions in the CIS, recent government reform and support from bodies such as the International Monetary Fund, are expected to spur growth in key sectors.  As one of the first law practices to bring an international legal presence to the region, we have built a reputation for providing high-quality, client-driven legal services to leading local, international and multinational companies operating in Ukraine.

Our Kyiv office comprises more than 30 lawyers who advise on a broad range of legal issues, including corporate and commercial, intellectual property, employment and real estate, anti-trust and trade, anti-dumping investigations and litigation. The office's strengths lie in banking, real estate, media, hospitality, and retail and consumer products, with a particularly strong emphasis on the food and beverage industry.

Our lawyers are experienced in a wide variety of high-profile mergers, acquisitions and corporate transformations, including privatisation, and have advised on joint venture creation, start-ups and corporate structuring.  Our Kyiv-based lawyers develop and maintain strong relationships within the local business community.
