DLA Piper announces partnership promotions for 2011

DLA Piper is proud to announce that 53 lawyers worldwide have been promoted to its partnership for 2011. The promotions are effective from 1 January 2011 in the US and 1 May 20111 for EMEA and Asia and were made across a wide spectrum of practice areas throughout 18 countries.
Across the US and the International practice groups, Litigation & Regulation saw the largest intake of new partners, with 14 promotions. Corporate and Finance both saw 12 promotions each, followed by Intellectual Property & Technology (9), Real Estate (3), Resturcturing (2) and Employment, Pensions and Benefits (1). There were 18 partner promotions across Continental Europe, three each were in the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway, while offices in France grew by two new partners and the remainder offices by one each. There were 17 promotions in the US, 12 across the UK, a further seven in Asia and one in the Middle East. A full list of partner promotions by office and practice is included below.
