David N. Missner concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy reorganization, commercial transactions and banking law both in Chicago, Illinois and Aspen, Colorado.
He is a frequent lecturer on banking and bankruptcy-related topics for the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and other professional and trade organizations.

Mr. Missner also continues to work for various financial institutions, including: American National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago, Banco Popular, Deutsche Bank, Cole Taylor Bank, Oxford Bank & Trust Co., and LaSalle National Bank.
The respected English research firm Chambers & Partners lists him as one of America's leading Insolvency lawyers in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business; in 2007, the guide described him as “one of the leading lawyers in Chicago" and in 2008, naming him a Senior Statesman, it said he is "phenomenal and wonderful" and "a great lawyer." Mr. Missner has been designated an Illinois Super Lawyer in both 2005 and 2006, as the result of research projects conducted jointly by Law & Politics and Chicago magazines.
