Richard Greenstein is a partner in the Franchise and Distribution Law practice group in DLA Piper's Atlanta office. Mr. Greenstein concentrates his practice in the establishment and maintenance of domestic and international franchise programs and business transactions such as the sale and acquisition of franchise systems. His practice also includes day-to-day counseling of franchisors on compliance issues, franchisor-franchisee relations, and dispute resolution. Mr. Greenstein also advises a number of companies on licensing and distribution and other business-related matters.
Before joining DLA Piper, Mr. Greenstein was a partner at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. Prior to joining private practice, Mr. Greenstein served in various capacities in the legal department of IBM Corporation from September 1980 until December 1986.
