Ronald Yin has more than 30 years of experience in the field of patent law. Among his clients are international semiconductor IDM companies as well as fabless semiconductor companies. He represents them in all phases of patent work, from counseling prosecution strategy, to analyzing potential licensees, to litigating, either defending or asserting issued patents.
Mr. Yin began his legal career at RCA Corporation in Princeton, New Jersey. He then joined Measurex Corp., a small multinational company, where he was the sole in-house counsel, with responsibility both for patent and general matters. He then entered private practice, joining Limbach, Limbach & Sutton, headquartered in the historic Ferry Building in San Francisco, where he practiced for 20 years. Mr. Yin then joined Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, one of DLA Piper’s legacy firms.
