Partner
|
Seamus Curley is a partner in DLA Piper's Government Contracts practice. He engages in a broad array of government contracts-related work at the federal, state and local level.
Mr Curley's work includes:
-
litigation of bid protests and size-related protests/appeals
-
general counseling
-
negotiation and drafting of subcontracts
-
responding to government audits
-
internal investigations
-
due diligence for mergers and acquisitions involving government contractors
-
counseling on intellectual property protection, domestic preference/country of origin, procurement fraud issues and business ethics/compliance programs
-
leasing of real property to government agencies
-
commercial litigation arising out of government contracts, including disputes between prime contractors and subcontractors and
-
Contract Disputes Act claims-related matters
Mr. Curley litigates in state and federal courts and before administrative forums, including the US Court of Federal Claims, the US Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the US Small Business Administration Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA).
Before joining DLA Piper, Mr. Curley was in private practice in New Jersey, with a focus in commercial and real property-related litigation and municipal law. He also served as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth Vicinage, Criminal Division.
