Shale D. Stiller is experienced in a broad range of business, tax, and estate planning matters, and has also been chief counsel in major constitutional, commercial, and divorce litigation.

Mr. Stiller is general counsel to one of the 15 largest private foundations in the country. He has been a member of the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Law for 40 years, having taught taxation, commercial law, constitutional law, and federal jurisdiction. He has been an active member of the American Law Institute for over 30 years and is a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

For the last 18 years, he has also been a Trustee of the Johns Hopkins University and is presently vice-chairman of the board of trustees of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

In 2008, he was named a Maryland Super Lawyer.
